About Our Client:
Our client is a European multi-national, market leading machinery & equipment leasing firm. They have a strong presence across Europe, Middle-East & Africa spanning more than 11 countries and employing over 1500 people globally. With a long term strategic focus on Asia, they are rapidly expanding their India operations and are looking for a CEO to drive growth & sustainable development of people & profit.
Job Description:
As the CEO - India, you will report to the MD for Middle East & International Businesses. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Complete ownership & accountability for the India P&L
- Build on existing relationships and develop new clients, thus sustainably expanding the scope of the India business
- Constantly seeking opportunities to leverage synergies across clients & relationships
- Implement the group's global strategy through best in class practices
- A hands on approach to overseeing day to day operations across sales & marketing, business management, legal, regulatory & compliance functions
- Developing the India strategy based on a focused, specialist approach across sectors and leading the execution of sales, negotiations, customer & partner alliances
- Attract, retain & develop high potential people
- Design & implement systems & processes that drive the successful execution of business plans
The Successful Applicant:
- You will have a proven track record of at least 15+ years of robust experience across leasing industry or businesses with a service line into the construction/infrastructure sectors. You are currently in the role of a General Manager/Country Manager/CEO or reporting to a country head - this is an absolute must. Ideally, you are currently second in command ready to move to the next level.
- Additionally, you should have a combined experience of a start up, business expansion and proven business acumen across operations, P&L management, regulatory & compliance and sales/business development.
- Skill repertoire must include proven strategic capabilities, negotiation and presentation capabilities, customer relationship skills, and the ability to build, lead and retain motivated and productive teams. Ideal candidates must be a post graduate from a reputed institute.
