Job Description for Business Excellence Role

Job Title: DGM Business Excellence

Location: Head Office (Kolkata)

Reporting To: ED

Key Responsibilities:

- Analysing data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for growth

- Developing key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the performance of Panel LOB against its strategic goals, and highlighting non compliances

- Identifying areas within the Plywood vertical where processes can be improved to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity

- Collaborating with senior management to develop and execute strategic plans that align with the organization's goals and objectives. Monitoring progress and making adjustments as necessary to ensure success

- Facilitating extensive reviews of Manufacturing, Sales, SCM, Procurement and other support functions on behalf of the Management

- Identifying and mitigating risks that could impact the organization's performance. Developing contingency plans and strategies to manage risks effectively.

- Providing dispassionate point of view to the directors on the efficacy of various programs, schemes, and initiatives

- Bringing fresh perspective of analysing data

- Program efficacy assessment of various initiatives undertaken by varrious departments

Qualifications:

- Bachelors/Masters degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.

- Proven track record of 15+ years in business excellence, corporate strategy, Chairman/MD/CEOs office or related roles.

- Consulting background mandatory
