Center Manager
Job title: Centre Manager
Department: Operations
Reports To: Regional Manager
Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of the centre, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to all relevant protocols and regulations.
- Manage the centre's budget and resources effectively, optimizing costs while maintaining quality standards.
- Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including doctors, nurses, embryologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide seamless patient care.
Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the centres budget.
- Monitor revenue and expenses, and identify areas for cost reduction.
- Oversee billing.
- Prepare financial reports for senior management.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate a team of healthcare professionals, providing coaching and development opportunities.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Conduct performance reviews and address any employee concerns.
Marketing and Business Development:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new patients and raise awareness of the centre's services.
- Build relationships with referral sources, such as OB/GYNs and other healthcare providers.
- Analyze data and track key performance indicators to measure the success of marketing and business development initiatives.
- Participate in community events and outreach programs.
Patient Care:
- Create a welcoming and supportive environment for patients, ensuring their emotional and physical well-being throughout their treatment journey.
- Oversee the patient intake process, scheduling appointments, and managing patient records.
- Liaise with doctors and nurses to ensure patients receive the best possible care.
- Address patient inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Ensure patient satisfaction with the clinic's services
Knowledge Requirement:
- Extensive knowledge of hospital operations.
- Knowledge of the principles and techniques of administrative management, including organization, planning, staffing, training, budgeting, and reporting.
Qualification & Skills:
- Master's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare management, preferably in a fertility clinic setting.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal & problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in computer software, including medical record systems and financial software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite
- Proactive, Multi-tasking & analytical.
- Positive & pressure bearing.
- Pleasant, Presentable, Sensitive, Mature & composed.
- Understanding of fertility treatments and the emotional challenges faced by patients.
Abilities Required:
- To plan, direct, and coordinate program and administrative activities of a hospital and/or center.
- To instruct, direct, and evaluate employees.
- To delegate assignments, authority, and responsibility, to determine where a task can most appropriately be accomplished, and to establish management controls for follow-up.
- To formulate policies and procedures for smooth functioning of operations.
- To appropriately allocate available resources.
- To analyze and appraise facts and precedents in making administrative decisions.
- Ability to establish effective working relationships with professional, technical, management and clerical staff.
- Ability to remain calm & composed under pressure/crisis conditions.
