Capability Development Manager - FMCG
Job Purpose:
The Capability Development Manager is crucial in ensuring that the CavinKare workforce (FF) are not only competent but also agile and adaptable to the dynamic market conditions and consumer preferences that are characteristic of the FMCG industry. This role contributes significantly to the company's growth, competitiveness, and long-term success.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation:
- Take ownership of content creation for training modules and materials, ensuring that they are engaging, relevant, and aligned with the organization's sales strategy.
- This includes developing multimedia content, e-learning materials, and interactive resources to enhance the effectiveness of training programs and promote active learning among the sales team.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather insights and feedback, continuously improving the training content to meet evolving business needs and industry trends.
Training and Development:
- Design, implement, and oversee training programs for the sales team, including onboarding for new hires and continuous skill development for existing employees
Performance Analysis:
- Conduct regular performance evaluations to identify knowledge gaps and skill deficiencies within the sales force, and devise targeted improvement plans accordingly
Sales Techniques:
- Develop and deliver training modules that encompass best practices in sales techniques, negotiation, customer relationship management, and other essential skills for achieving sales targets
Performance Measurement:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to gauge the impact of training interventions on the sales team's productivity.
- Regularly monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives by analyzing sales performance data, individual performance metrics, and feedback from sales managers.
- Use these insights to make data-driven decisions, identify areas of improvement, and refine training strategies to ensure a visible and measurable increase in productivity across the sales force
Product Knowledge:
- Ensure that the sales team possesses in-depth knowledge of the products offered, their unique selling points, and their competitive advantages
Market Insights:
- Keep abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to integrate relevant insights into sales training content
Coaching and Mentoring:
- Provide one-on-one coaching and mentoring sessions to sales representatives to reinforce learning and enhance their performance
Training Effectiveness:
- Track the effectiveness of training programs through measurable performance metrics and make necessary adjustments to achieve desired outcomes
Collaboration:
- Work closely with Sales Managers, Regional Sales Heads, and other stakeholders to align training initiatives with the overall business strategy
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for enhancing sales capability development processes and methodologies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
