Job Purpose:
To be the brand custodian for internal and external stakeholders by developing brand strategies and promoting brand growth using various data points
To use customer insights & research trends to understand how they perceive the brand, expected to understand stated & unstated consumer needs to create new products or improved existing products to satisfy brand's Target Group
Key Responsibilities:
CATEGORY UNDERSTANDING:
1. Developing in-depth understanding of the Category
2. Market, Category & Brand assessment for each of the products developed
3. Regular market visits to understand competition and consumer insights
NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT:
1. Estimating market potential, planning launch quantities
2. Conceptualizing & developing products across brands in line with respective core brand strategies
3. Creating GTM (Go To Market) strategy for new products
4. Participating in Market Research & understanding consumer need-gaps
5. Collaborating with R&D, Packaging teams to develop products to address consumer need-gaps
6. Packaging development including design & structure of products
7. Iterative consumer interactions to perfect product development including product performance, packaging, etc.
8. Interacting with agencies for creating & executing all creatives to ensure consistency with Mother brand
9. Collaborating with multiple stakeholders to launch new products in time
10. Conducting launch meets & be the one-point communication for all product related details till handing over to EPD (Existing Product Development) Team
DATA ANALYSIS:
1. Regularly tracking sales & other business metrices with dashboards
2. Using data to analyze and coming up with action plans to improve growth
3. Closely looking at spends and margins to ensure profitability of business
