Area Sales Manager - FMCG (Institutional Sales/Channel)
Position description:
- Responsible for increasing the company's footprint in terms of sales in Institution & HORECA channel for the assigned territory
Primary Responsibilities:
- Currently responsible for planning & achieving sales targets for Institution & HORECA channel in the assigned territory. Monitor and control the sales budget to ensure optimum utilization of resources
- Ensuring availability and visibility of products to ensure optimum fill rates & minimize out of stock situation
- Responsible for sales forecasting, targets, and promotions of all categories in the assigned territory
- Influencing promotions, in store merchandising - space, assortment, and displays.
- New product introductions, accounts receivables by working closely with the Institutions/HORECA.
- Responsible for managing the team, motivating them and getting them to deliver their metrices.
- The Area Manager will be required to understand the working style, strengths and weaknesses of each team member and provide developmental inputs on a continuous basis.
- Recruits, tests, and hires Territory Sales Officers based on criteria agreed upon by senior management
- Conducts one-on-one review with all TSO's to build more effective communications, to understand training & development needs
- Conducts one-on-one review with all TSO's to provide insight for the improvement of TSO's sales and activity performance
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
