The role will require the candidate to:
- Own and hit topline & bottomline targets for your portfolio
- Plan and execute the pricing strategy for a large portfolio of brands on the platform
- Manage the inventory through rigorous analysis and inputs to the buy team
- Understand and facilitate the performance of Marketplace sellers
- Work with the marketing & merchandising team to drive visibility for their products
- Drive specific initiatives and projects for Category growth
- Co-own the business metrics - both topline and bottomline related while refining processes to bridge gaps and leverage new opportunities
- Stay on top of numbers and trends in an ever-changing landscape, find opportunities and prioritize based on impact, internal capabilities, etc.
- Understand the competitive scenario, both offline and online and utilize these insights into better pricing strategies.
- Take ownership of brand-wise sales and deliver against targets
- Ensure the pricing execution during regular days and sales event days as per plan
- Help deliver the monthly and annual targets defined for the category
- Work with the buying team to identify gaps in the selection available on the platform
- Drive the inventory profile according the need of the category
- Ensure the availability of inventory of critical brands through the buy team
- Keep a constant watch and take remedial measures with respect to inventory health
- Analyse the performance of the marketplace sellers to drive the buying team for increased selection and optimum pricing
