- End to end P&L and strategic ownership of your categories
- Ensure growth and profitability of your category
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of your customer market, needs and behavior to ensure that company's product has a ready strategy to keep driving growth profitability in the category
- Focus on developing the right expert partner base to provide high degree of value to customers
- Groom your team continuously to create a superior execution engine
- Ensure all goals of all key category metrics are being consistently met
- Enable 6-12 M strategic planning in your category
- Conceptualize, plan and execute strategic initiatives which enhances customer experience across the customer life cycle
- Own end-to-end impact delivery of projects - including ideation, problem solving, developing execution plan, implementation and process stabilization
- Partner with relevant stakeholders (Product, Technology, Marketing, Contracting, Finance, Operations etc.) to drive cross-functional initiatives and deliver project outcomes which positively impacts your category
- Regularly analyze external market trends, internal metrics and competitor strategies to generate business insights and enable gap analysis.
- Help your manager in developing an overall strategy for the category cluster (such as international holidays, domestic holidays etc.)
