Category Manager - Home - Retail

About Our Client :

Our client is a global retail giant with an impressive product portfolio. They are considered to be pioneers in the space and are renowned the world over for the employee friendly policies. Currently, they are looking to recruit a Category Manager, based out of their corporate office in Bangalore.

Job Description :

- Reporting to the Business Head you will be responsible for developing and implementing the strategy for the category across the country, and ensuring that it is in line with overall company objectives.

- This will include aspects of Buying & Merchandising, Costing, Sales, Operations, and P&L Management.

- You will be required to drive volumes for the assigned category, and liaise extensively with internal (local and global) and external stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant :

- You will be a post graduate with around 5-8 years of experience in the retail industry, ideally focusing on the Home category of products.

- The client is looking for someone with the ability to drive sales volumes and numbers for the category. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise extensively with global stakeholders.
