Profile & Experience:
1. MBA from a reputed B-School.
2. Must have experience in Category Management in FMCG or food services company.
3. Must have exposure to following functional areas.
4. Product / category management.
5. New Product Development.
6. Customer research.
7. Experience in Sales is desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Insights - Undertake necessary researches to derive sharp actionable customer insights within each of the customer segments.
- Category growth & profitability - Drive strategies to gain market share in each of the categories by actively collaborating with the Sales Team.
- Constantly evaluate competitive context, drive pricing strategy and deliver planned category revenues and contributions.
- New Product Development - Drive the NPD program with active collaboration with R&D, Sales and Operations departments. Deliver the identified success metrices for each new product.
- Streamline & improve NPD process and eventually digitize the same.
- Brand Architecture - Strategize and implement the brand architecture, define the sharp positioning for each of the brands and ensure implementation of brand codes.
- Managing agencies - Manage good relations with external agencies, outline scope of work and oversee their delivery.
