Category Manager - Electronics - eCommerce

The role requires managing all seller related aspects of an eCommerce business including Business development, planning, merchandising, promotions, tracking competition, managing key metric of sales, cancellations, SLA inventory etc. in the said category.

Job Description:

- Research, identification of products to be sold on our Teleshopping channel

- Developing vendors for sourcing products @ Best prices

- Deliver on sales plan and overall P&L for the assigned super category

- Generate and implement new sales and promotions initiatives for sales growth

- Ensuring round the clock availability of products

- Collaborate with cross functional internal partners for end to end execution

- Undertake certain special projects and ensure their execution

- Meet commercial objectives of sales targets and conversion rates

- Owning all the key metrics that govern the Category's health

- People Management and Cross Functional communication

- Build, coach, develop and motivate the team to meet and exceed performance expectations

Candidate Profile:

- Pass out from Top-10 B-School

- Must be analytically sound and comfortable handling large volumes of data and its interpretation

- Keen sense of analytics and objective decision making

- Candidate needs to have a winning attitude and an ability to never get bogged down by issues, problems

- Right candidate needs to be able to survive in a fast-paced work environment
