KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Experience in an ecommerce company where product listing is done online is a must.
- Should have had experience in the field of range/product/catalogue planning(design experience).
- Responsible to build and execute a strategy to grow market share and profitability across a set of the Category and contribute to the growth of the business and team.
- Responsible to execute a comprehensive online merchandising strategy and able to analyze category performance and react to company and industry sales trends; able to execute multiple projects and the ability to plan and organize.
- Source new and special products at the best cost, payment terms and return terms and margin
- Prepare weekly campaign in coordination with digital marketing.
- Manage inventory efficiently in coordination with accounting and finance, warehouse.
- Analyze and root cause analysis the slow moving and aging inventory.
- Develop and implement category strategy to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
- Build strong relationships with existing suppliers and execute negotiations to secure best pricing, sales programs, and promotional support.
- Advance catalog expansion, including the identification of selection gaps, the prioritization of new item production, and the development of relationships with new, target suppliers.
- Collaborate across functions to drive business goals (including Marketing, Sales, Business Development and Operations).
- Make sure all our inventory is live in the Apps
- Ownership of the category P&L.
