Description - To be responsible for the set up and over all promotion of the Food Ingredients catergory to maximize growth in a multicultural environment. New Product Launch, Execution, Contracting and Value Analysis of the Category, RnD and Sales coordination. The main goal is to establish Food Ingredients portfolio across the globe and there by increase profitability of business

Client is one of the largest players in the food ingredient space. Its main headquarters remain in India but is now present in 22 countries across the world. Every continent is served by robust technology, logistics, regulatory and manufacturing teams. They are serving all major names in the FMCG, Pharma, F&B, and Industrial colors industry
Description:
- Must have extensive experience in understanding consumer needs in Food ingredient categories also commercial mindset and full comprehension of marketing and sales principles.
- Analyse data or insights to determine industry and consumer trends
- Devise long-term development strategies for dehydrated foods
- Develop exit strategies for unsuccessful products.
- Foster trust relationships with vendors to achieve better pricing and quality of services
- Place appropriate orders to ensure product availability that meets consumer demands
- Determine the positioning of a product category to maximize visibility.
- Liaise with marketing teams to determine competitive pricing and promotional activities of a color
- Collaborate with buyers and merchandisers to expand product categories.
- Make forecasts for product demand to ensure the sustainability of inventory.
- Assume responsibility of budget development and revenue for category.
- To lead the function to create value, drive continuous improvement, provide effective implementation of
agreed ranges by applying category management and strategic sourcing leading practises.
- To create, execute and communicate for promoting sales and understanding the market and to align to internal stakeholders requirements, on going basis.
- To lead annual or more frequent analysis of Food Ingredients Category's overall spending to identify new opportunities and to drive/promote our product to various customers globally.
- To develop sustainability initiatives with industry players in line with the business and category strategy..
- Technical know how of product
- Sales and Marketing experience
- Strong leadership skill with a proven ability to lead and execute strategic business initiative.
- Great analytical skills and strong attention to detail. with an ability to navigate in a start up mode
- Ability to work in ambiguious situation and remain flexible
- Proactive, inquisitive, passionate, who relishes taking ownership.
