Category Management:
- Own the P&L for Pesticides category for multiple crops across various states of India.
- Plan and achieve turnover and gross margins as per the annual plan.
- Ideal partner and product mix for maximizing the margins.
- Channel Pricing Rebate & Bottom-line management
- Marketing Campaign & Marketing budget
- Product Training, value delivery, value proposition
- Identify New Business opportunities
- Partnership Building and Business Onboarding: Develop a value proposition and engage with partners (along with pricing) in the Pesticides industry to achieve the desired business targets of the MAARS platform.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with multiple stakeholders (farmers, FPOs, Pesticide suppliers, vendors, etc.) to ensure optimization of the overall value chain and streamlining of the sales mechanism. Strong interpersonal skills required to manage the relations effectively.
- Team Management: Lead, guide and motivate a team of Sales staff to ensure achievement of the overall financial and growth targets
- Inputs for Product Development: Act as the eyes and ears at the field level, solicit feedback and understand the desired products/ services by partners and farmers to develop solutions in coordination with the internal Product teams
