Position Title - Category Manager (Services Procurement )

Job Responsibility
1. JOB PURPOSE
- Category Manager for the following areas for Airport, Energy, T&UI sectors, SEZ, IT, Property Business, BSS, etc.
- Develop & implement sourcing and Procurement Strategies Corporate Communication related Services (like drafting of digital/ mail communications, Event Management Services, Advertising and web hosting etc.)
- Explore New Technologies, New Vendors, Best Practices and Implement for Engineering Services.
- Strategies and Execute the Group Special Initiatives like Consolidation, Spent Management, Process Improvement, Optimization, Value Engineering, etc.
- Proactively identify the areas of improvement and to present to Management / Head Services
- Preparation of comparative analysis for Cost Benefit / Process Improvement / Value Engg.

- Lead Strategic Planning for Specific Categories - (Corporate Communication Services related)
- Support Services head in developing Strategic Plan for Procurement by providing strategic inputs relating to
Maintenance services category :
- Managing annual spend in Events, Campaigns, Seminars, Conferences & Exhibitions spread over different business verticals of the organization, Pan India

- Lead Strategic Sourcing Activities
- Lead the definition of category strategy by conducting in- depth analysis and creating expert points of view
- Provide guidance to Buyers & Sourcing Analysts for Industry analysis & Supply Market & Spend Analysis
- Identify and introduce new capable domestic and global suppliers.
- Effectively prepare, coordinate and conduct fact based negotiations with suppliers
- Monitor and report value tracking for the category - budgeted v/s actual savings
- Undertake supplier base rationalization / optimization & reallocate share of business
- Total landed cost / TCO savings
- Value engineering savings
- Lead time adherence
- Spend under management
- Lead initiatives that explore value engineering possibilities
- Maintain risk profile of the category and define mitigation plans
- Lead Supplier Relationship Management / Development Activities
- Act as a single point relationship manager to the category suppliers for all businesses
- Track supplier performance through periodic inputs from the project procurement team & provide timely and appropriate feedback to suppliers
- Identify supplier development opportunities and lead development efforts
- Ensure and coordinate timely supplier payments to maintain relationship as appropriate
- Satisfaction levels of key suppliers
- Manage Internal Customer Needs
- Provide quotes & projections to support bid preparations
- Provide procurement risk related inputs to business at pre- bid Provide supply market intelligence to business as required
- Track user compliance of rate contracts and other processes related to Maintenance Services
- Track the evolution of internal customers' needs
- Provide support to the project in terms of any interventions required while administering supply contracts
- Support expediting activities by the buyers as required by the project
- Provide category specific information (eg. details of rate contract / frame agreements)

- Lead the Team of Buyers & Analysts
- Manage team of buyers & analysts and be accountable for the overall spend of the category
- Ensure effective performance management of the team: set
objectives, provide feedback and coaching and define individual development needs
