Urgent requirement for 'Category Manager'
Position : Category Manager
Experience : 3 - 8 Years
Location : Gurgaon
CTC: 15- 20 LPA CTC
(Candidates only from FMCG and Personal Care company can apply) - please don't apply if your current CTC is less than 7 LPA (only fixed salary not including variable)
Company: A leading herbal based personal care brand having Pan India presence.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities:
- To lead the complete marketing/product management for the category in India through developing a comprehensive category roadmap, product selection, driving action plan& monitoring the results of marketing activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market monitors: studying competitors, market players, trends, market capacity, product seasonality & selling channels.
- Define a clear Road Map for the category (includes both short term & long term goals).
- Responsible for formulating strategy by product segment.
- Identify & select appropriate products from Global list based on comprehensive market study which should lead to both Category growth & brand development.
- Plan, implement and monitor product launches on a permanent basis. Developing products presentations, trade presentations and other informative materials on all the products.
- Lead daily activities & communications - internally with other departments in the local subsidiary & with the HQ marketing team.
- Develop and lead internal & external products/ category trainings for local sales team and distributor's sales teams.
- Market budget controlling for the category (within the framework of the activities required)
- Developing & executive a complete Media Plan for the category.
- Lead - a full circle- of trade supportive activities including motivation programs for sales teams and materials for shops.
- Control and analyze effectiveness of ATL/BTL activities for the category.
- Consumer profile analyses on external database.
- Price positioning.
- GM category analyzes.
- Market visits to regional cities all over the country (about 30%)
- Supporting appropriate channel development strategy.
- Provide merchandizing standards for the category.
Skills:
- 3+ years of working experience on the relevant position in the Baby Business (preferably from Toys) or FMCG specially the ones that are in baby cosmetics.
- MBA marketing from Premier Business School
- Graduation any
- Strong communication skills;
- Fluent level of English (spoken and written) is a must
- Strong computer skills including MS Office (presentation skill is a must)
- Excellent analytical skills
