Founded in 2016, they currently have shelf presence in over 150 retail outlets, sell through multiple e-commerce portals and export to international markets as well.
Their focus is on Ayurvedic Nutrition products like plant protein powders, A2 ghee, juices, herbal teas, flavoured honeys and more. They have been successfully doubling sales every quarter, and enjoy the trust of their investors as well as consumers. Their mission is to provide revitalising solutions to their customers, that are non-synthetic, fresh from the source, and extremely hygienically picked and packed.
As the Category Manager, you will be responsible for following:
Sales and Business Intelligence:
- Driving sales planning and sales strategy for the D2C platform
- Creating necessary data reports and run data-driven decisions to optimize sales, improve the customer journey and streamline operations
- Driving customer engagement and retention, through marketing automation and other programs
- Liaising with the operations team to ensure competitive delivery timelines and metrics
Marketing:
- Working on developing solutions to scale existing growth levers; Ideating and creating hard-hitting and relatable campaigns for various target segments for digital, social, influencer and offline media
- Leading cross-functional collaboration with brand, performance, content, and influencer marketing teams to execute campaigns and create performance reports
- Leading marketing research and data analytics; provide strong business judgment/build hypothesis
- Identifying and activating strategic alliances and integrations
Reporting and Project Management:
- Working closely with the content, design, web development and marketing teams to ensure timelines are met and quality standards maintained
- Working on creating annual and quarterly marketing plans, sales projections and internal analysis on campaign performance
- Assisting the business head in monthly, quarterly and annual reporting and process improvements
What you need to have:
- Brand Manager / Category Manager / Marketing Manager or similar. Startup experience also works
- Sales/P&L Management - Any experience in managing top line sales and responsible for achieving top-line numbers
- Marketing - Has managed marketing strategy; worked with cross-functional teams to execute marketing campaigns
- eCommerce experience - Should have a fair understanding of online/digital sales and marketing - Familiar with managing digital campaigns and online customer journey
- Strong growth trajectory. Less years of experience is fine, as long as the progression has been good (multiple promotions, raises --> would help to see overall career arc)
