Role Dimensions:

- Knowledge & Application: Knowledge levels is of standardized work routines and is mostly acquired through training on the job

- Interaction: Routine and task related interactions with supervisor and stakeholders (in their peer group).

- Problem Solving: Similar problems within defined scope and solutions are standardized and well-defined with detailed instructions.

- Accountability/Impact: Operate with direct and detailed instructions with very close and continued supervision of day-to-day work.

Reporting and location:

- Incumbent will be reporting into the Director/Associate Director Category Management and location would be PAN India

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Interactions:

- External Stakeholders: Vendors Travel Frequency: As & when required.

- Purpose of Role: The AM/ M Category Management will manage category sourcing portfolio, ensure and implement efficient Selection & Category Operations strategies

- Selection: Responsible for Sourcing/ Buying (Appliances), merchandising, assortment planning to ensure that DealShare has leadership position in identified segments, Assortment to drive exponential revenue growth and margins

- Category Operations: Ensuring set Fill Rates and generation of extra income through Terms of Trade

- Relationship Management & Market Mapping: Good Network with Vendors and Wholesalers in the Regional Market.


- Knowledge of Local Market for defined category

Skills & Competency:

- Domain expertise in the identified category (Appliances) and geographies, are essential for this role

- The role is required to work on delivering daily numbers, short-term goals and long-term milestones set by business and efficacy.


- Meeting these milestones would be critical to create success.

- The role requires the incumbent to work closely and coordinate with the Internal and external teams to create success. She/he should be able to seamlessly navigate these relationship dynamics in a high growth, young, agile business environment.

- Online Experience is mandatory
