Offline : Category Lead - Merchant Lending
Job Objective: Offline GTM team focuses on ensuring GTM strategy planning and execution in the market. This entails understanding and interpreting merchant-level data, behaviours, and feedback into conclusions that can be used to improve product development, GTM and merchant support. This will be a team-handling role and will report to the Category Head, Offline.
We are looking for a Category Lead - Lending to manage the financial products portfolio (especially lending) for the offline business setup. The selected individual will be responsible for managing and maximizing the merchant loans and overall performance of multiple product categories to enhance merchant appeal. Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and sales teams will also be a crucial part of their responsibilities.
- Opportunity to drive the growth charter of our lending businesses, with high-impact projects in a continuously evolving landscape.
- Identify product and business growth levers to plan a roadmap for the category, and drive execution of key initiatives planned
- Collaborate across cross-functional teams (product, tech, finance, legal, policy etc) to build consensus and oversee execution on key projects.
- Overseeing daily performance of the category. Identifying areas of improvement and collaborating with internal/external teams to ensure enhancements are executed on time
- Review , interpret and implement regulatory guidelines applicable for the Lending Business
- Closely work with key partners in the lending supply teams to execute initiatives
- Liaison with Business Finance and Analytics functions to define and track KPIs for growth of the business
- Running experiments to identify the right cohorts of merchants and best product-market fit
- Analyze different lending competition proposition to come up with insights for delivering market winning experience for the GTM teams.
Requirements:
- MBA from Tier 1 campus with 6-8 years of work experience
- Drive for result, able to demonstrate/quantify success related to established targets and metrics
- Problem-solving abilities with strong bias for impact
- Analytical skills & able to handle large volumes of data with highest accuracy levels
- Decision-making process & provide insights into the business
- Flexible to adopt changes as per business requirement
- Self-motivated and self-starter.
