Our Client: Our client has a significant presence in the food/culinary and savory business.
Your Role: A seasoned professional who comes armed with 15+ years of qualitative experience in leading new product innovation, re-innovation of old product lines, managing the stage gate process you would be armed with substantial cross geography experience in the Chips / Salted biscuits / Wafers business.
- Manage R&D accountability for new product timelines and triages issues with Operations, manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory and other teams to maintain target deadlines and approve necessary extensions.
- Works within multiple categories to assist with diversifying the Company's product offering and facilitates growth into new or existing markets.
- Establish improved and effective ways of working with Global cross functional partners to ensure excellence in execution.
You would be responsible for leading the organization in products Innovations, products renovations, Quality enhancements, Ingredient Value Engineering, Demonstrating the futuristic proactive product proposals to business to build the innovation pipeline, building development team, coaching and building the functional and leadership capability, building and managing the budget. This position requires exercising independent judgment to deliver on the objectives.
Must Haves: You must have a Master/Bachelors degree (preferably Food Engineer, Food science) 15+ years of experience in the food industry.
