We are looking for Category Head (Pan India) responsibility for a Petcare startup based at Delhi.
- Pinpoint customer/shopper trends and understand the advanced principles of category management
- Market product categories effectively, discuss strategies with management, brief market research companies, update internal reports, perform regular retail checks, and drive sales through different planogram strategies.
Key Deliverables :-
- P&L responsibility for the category. Decide on the offering of product, pricing of products and deliver the target margins across product offerings & channels.
- Ensure to manage inventory, revenue & margins from the categories. Alter the mix of offering depending on key learnings & insights.
- Understand consumer & market insights, and work on the promotions / offering mix / pricing for categories, commensurate with budget plans.

- Ability to manage a wide spectrum of products ranging from Food, Treats, Grooming, Health Care, Fashion & Lifestyle for Pets, Leashes & Collars, etc.
- Ensure correctness & aptness of content for each SKU, including photoshoot / product shoot.
- Manage consistent & optimal availability of inventory across channels, and also ensure seamless experience for the consumers across channels.
- Market research of key competitors and also global players. Implement learnings in category offerings of our brand.
- Comfort of having worked on Gineysis, Magento & Browntape.-
- Researching and analyzing trends in sales and consumer behavior.
- Drafting reports for the organization to enhance sales.
- Planning and implementing planograms for shelf displays.
- Communicating with suppliers and retailers about products.
- Optimizing in-store displays with prompted signage, category markers, and category usage tips.
- Proficient at evaluating current business retail practices.
- Ability to write well and generate reports on market activity.
- Possess great negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think from a consumer perspective and understand buying behavior.
- Analytical, creative, and goal-driven thinking.
- Experience in retail and marketing
- Must have worked in both ONLINE & OFFLINE RETAIL
