Category head/OTC Head For Pharma Unicorn(only from B2B or E-comm)
Job Description :
- To create OTC supply business with complete P&L Ownership
- Fully responsible for all facets of product procurement, including negotiations with vendors on pricing and promotions.
- Have accountability for category reporting, such as forecasting, analysis of ytd and prior year sales, promos, etc.
4. Actual procurement of product, developing category plan-o-grams and continued analysis of product performance.
5. Coordinate work of assistant buyers.
- On Boarding of companies, vendor management, driving growth
- Driving other engagement initiatives with brand
- Creating team of category managers for the whole portfolio and driving them
- Ensuring inventory management, inventory optimization with healthy ROCE for the business
- Creating and driving Go To Market Initiatives for the various categories
- Own top line, as well as the bottom line for the categories, drive revenue and margins
- Work to optimise on factors beyond topline and category margins building a healthy P&L
- Manage inventory levels & cash cycle
- Marketplace and Buying Planning
- Own the assortment : Inventory led as well as through Marketplace
- Build local and national tie-ups with manufacturers, suppliers and brands
Set operational guidelines for handling category assortment
- Cross functional work management
