Category Head for India’s Leading Online Company
Key aspects of the role :
- Responsible for defining the annual business strategy as well as product roadmap for the category.
- Responsible for P&L management with help of Category team.
- Responsible for Category Management, Profitability, Supplier and Inventory planning and management, Working capital management, Assortment planning, Buying margin management, Supply planning and management, Retail systems and processes across Online and Offline.
- Analyzing and understanding consumer behavior/ insights to identify consumer demands.
- Responsible for end to end management of the Category and its growth.
- Working closely with cross functional teams such as Product, Merchandising, Supply Chain and Operations.
- Competitor Tracking and ensuring category growth is maintained/ exceeds expectations.
- Increase category revenue by adding required product range and negotiations with the suppliers.
- Delivering gross margin through portfolio analysis, strategic planning and optimizing category mix.
Required Skillset:
- Qualification: Incumbent from Tier-1 MBA colleges preferred.
- Looking at exceptionally bright, dynamic, young, go getter individuals who are number and goal focused.
