Product (Buying & Merchandising) :

1) Define and Strategies Product offering vis-a-vis brand positioning and Ideology

2) Lead and own Curation & buying of hard goods business vertical

3) Ensure best representation of art & craft techniques in the business vertical terms of selection & authenticity & mix

4) Work with design /craft experts & cluster managers to design and curate differentiated offerings

5)Define event strategies to showcase best representations of categories

6) Devise long term development strategies for product categories

7) Develop exit strategies for unsuccessful products

8) Place appropriate orders to ensure product availability that meets consumer demands

9) Determine the positioning of a product category to maximize visibility

10) Collaborate with cross- functional teas on business strategy to determine specific category on foundation for allocation strategies

11) Assume responsibility for budget development and revue for category

Business Development :

1) Identify Product Category Performance and gaps and form strategies

2) Achieve AOP, Margin & Stock Guidelines for business vertical

3) Work closely with operations and support function teams

4) Define event strategies to showcase best representation of the strategies5)

5) liaise with marketing teams to determine promotional activities of the product category

Cluster/ Craft Development :

1) Clusters and dying art forms with support of craft experts and cluster manager

2)Travel to cluster to optimize cluster capacity and sourcing best craft and relationship building with artisan communities

3) Collaborate with artisans to expand product category

Customer experience :

1) Develop and share craft/artisan stories behind the product to sensitize and educate

2) consumers and to provide them with differentiated experience

3) Curate a range that is relevant to the customer needs

Team Building:

1) Ensure team is aligned with the vision and values of the brand and organization

2) support team members to define their growth path within the business vertical or organization

3) Train and develop the QC team

Academics : Graduate/post Graduate in Non-Textile Material handling or Design
