Busisness is an end to end home construction service for individual home builders offering a hassle-free construction experience to its customers.
It is a technology led B2C e-commerce service which provides a platform for home builders to meet vetted turnkey contractors for home construction. The platform provides tech-enabled tool for its customers to track the progress of their home construction and manage the cost, quality and timeline of their home construction project.
Location : Mumbai
Key Pointers:
- We are looking for a Category Head to manage Construction (Turnkey projects) category of products .
- You will be the one responsible for the sales of a product category to maximize consumer appeal. Relationships with vendors and product range management will also be part of your duties.
- An excellent category Head must have extensive experience in understanding consumer needs and the retail environment. They must have a commercial mindset and full comprehension of marketing and sales principles.
- The goal is to increase sales and profitability of business to drive sustainable growth.
- The role of the Category Head is to execute the website's and multi-channel initiatives corporate wide to maximize revenue, profits and our customers' experience for assigned business segment and Work cross-functionally and with Senior Management to ensure efficient and effective execution of strategy and roadmap
- Experience in all the Business Paramaters
- Expertise to scale new Business
- Had been part of Digital Transformation
- Responsible to derive PnL
- well versed with B2B /B2C E-commerce functions, strategies and growth path
- Develop strong working relationships with buying, marketing and merchandising teams.
- Creating and developing a long-term plan and strategy for development of the category.
- Vendor management: vendor sourcing & management, vendor relationship management.
- Customer management: Managing key customer relationships, developing multiple channels, optimizing omni channel sales- through mix of online and offline sales.
- Marketing: Manages and optimizes marketing spends on the category group. Working closely with digital marketing team to optimize spends across different digital channels
Who can apply:
- Graduate with MBA Tier1 having 15 + years of experience
- Preference to candidate from e-commerce experience in Construction / building material space
- Analytical skills and problem-solving attitude
- Good aptitude and control over numbers
- Good communication skills and stakeholder management
- Understanding of P&L
