Job Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Formulate and implement category strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives. Conduct market research to identify opportunities for growth and areas for improvement.
- Product Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, including market research, product development, pricing strategies, and product launch activities. Ensure products meet market needs and regulatory standards and ensure optimal inventory is maintained to meet the demand.
- Sales and Revenue Growth: Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market share. Set and monitor sales targets and performance metrics.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and industry stakeholders. Address customer needs and resolve issues promptly.
- Marketing, Branding and Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement promotional campaigns and marketing materials that effectively communicate the benefits of asbestos sheets.
- Digital Marketing: Manage engaging content for social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram). Develop and execute social media campaigns to increase engagement and brand visibility along with handling Digital Leads.
- Financial Management: Prepare and manage the category budget, maintain and improve product wise contribution margins, analyze financial performance, and take corrective actions as needed to achieve financial targets.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of product managers, digital marketing manager and support staff. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all products and processes adhere to industry regulations and safety standards. Stay updated on relevant regulations and standards.
- Reporting and Analysis: Monitor and report on category performance, including sales data, market trends, and competitor activities. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions.
Qualification / Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in product management or category management within the construction materials or related industry.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful sales and marketing strategies.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with CRM and ERP systems.
