CATEGORY GROWTH MANAGER - HOME SOLUTIONS

- We as an organization are disrupting the assistance & protection space by bringing organizations to a previously, massively fragmented industry. Despite being very large in size, it suffers from a lack of consumer trust, transparency and a standard experience and, very interestingly & historically, a lack of brands and organized players.

- This role will drive the organization in achieving its vision of assisting & protecting each household in India based on a deep understanding of market gaps & consumer needs states and effective Go-to-market strategies. We have ambitious plans to grow by getting new revenue through a three-pronged strategy of product innovation & differentiation, GTM via multiple channels like B2B2C, B2C & D2C and best-in-class consumer experience.
- The ideal candidate will be a skilled problem solver & collaborator, and a data-oriented, hands-on, high-energy, naturally entrepreneurial person, possessing a high degree of comfort in a fast-paced, ambiguous and ever-evolving space.
Role :
- This individual will be responsible for building market leadership for the organization in the Home Solutions space by driving Household subscriptions and delivering robust growth through new innovative value propositions while sustaining the BAU business & increasing its profitability.
- KRAs for this individual are topline (Revenue & Growth), bottom line (Net Contribution) & innovation.
What You'll Do :
- Drive Category Growth & Revenue: Develop the category marketing strategy and product roadmap to grow the category revenue; Create new growth engines through new avenues to up-sell, cross-sell & more; Work closely with the Sales team to achieve revenue goals
- Pricing: Drive revenue growth by working closely with the Sales team on proposals especially customized solutions for various B2B partners
- New Product Development: Lead the new product development initiatives for the organization. This will include identifying new areas of growth and launching new products in line with broader strategic goals
- Drive P&L: Own and drive the overall product-category P&L and improve unit economics
- Increase Market Share: Enhance existing product offerings and customer experience to increase market share
- GTM: Ensure consistent execution of product lifecycle processes from concept to launch (GTM), working closely with sales, service and tech teams
- Influence User Journey: Work closely with the tech team to develop/improve the user journey experience
- Improve Customer Experience: Work with teams like Customer Service, Operations etc. to improve our customer retention
- Stakeholder Management: Work closely with business development/sales leaders to meet category revenue targets
- Consumer Insight: Develop a deep understanding of Consumer, households and Market need gaps to develop new products & value propositions
What You MUST have :
- 3 years of proven experience in building & growing new categories in the consumer space
- Experience of working in a Consumer/Insure/Health/Fin-Tech startup ecosystem is MUST
- MBA from a reputed institute
- Bonus: If worked in FMCD / Durables or related industry/startup
