Our Client is a top FMCG MNC based out of Pune. We are looking for a Asst Brand Manager - Category and Channel Maangement to be based out of Pune. The position reports to the Senior Brand Manager and shall be responsible for -

1. Strategic Business Planning – Develop a Category Plan aligned with Marketing Plan to ensure achievement of Market Share and Sales Volume objectives.

2. Customer Management - Actively participate in Budget Planning Process, develop and review Category Plan and POP materials/initiatives. Provide inputs in the development and maintenance of Customer Profiles and Category Review template.

3. Trade Communication – Provide inputs in developing and reviewing Trade Communication Plan.

4. Trade Pricing – Implement trade pricing strategy and develop appropriate trade competitive response plans. Monitor competitive price actions plan and recommend changes as appropriate

5. Distribution - Functionally responsible for data analysis and other category programs to optimise the companies Reach/Coverage. Work with Marketing team on new product developments with regards to product launch, exit, pack counts, top line forecasts (market share, volume) and baseline/incremental forecasts due to in-store promotions. Availability - Establish priority code lists by customer type and ensure alignment with Marketing Plan

6. Consumer/Shopper/Customer (POP) - Promotions – Develop, implement and evaluate national category-specific promotions by utilizing the full suite of business tools (e.g. SPO) and external data resources (e.g. AC Nielsen). Efficiently monitor Trade Investment levels to achieve maximum volume returns on responsible category

7. Merchandising – Provide inputs in developing, implementing and evaluating Merchandising guidelines.

8. Channel Management

- Incumbent is responsible for the implementation of category development activities and to provide analysis on various category development projects.

- Incumbent must incorporate marketing, sales and customer concerns into the creation of high quality category development activities.

Experience - 3 - 5 years of Brand/Category/ Trade Marketing/ Marketing experience in FMCG comp. MBA from premier B-school.
