Role Overview:
We're seeking a dynamic Category & Catalogue Manager to join our team. If you are a self-starter, eager to wear multiple hats, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment, this role is for you. You'll have the opportunity to work across various business functions, directly contributing to the success and growth of our products.
Key Responsibilities:
a) Category Management:
- Develop and execute strategies to optimize category performance, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and gaps in the product assortment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, supply chain) to drive category sales and profitability.
b) Catalogue Management:
- Oversee the product catalogue, ensuring accurate, updated, and compelling product information across all channels.
- Work closely with the product, merchandising, and digital teams to maintain an organized, user-friendly catalogue.
- Implement best practices for catalogue structuring, product tagging, and SEO to improve visibility and ease of navigation.
c) Data Analysis and Insights:
- Track key performance metrics and conduct regular analyses to monitor category performance, identify trends, and optimize product mix.
- Provide actionable insights for product assortment, pricing, and promotion strategies.
d) Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely product availability and efficient inventory management.
- Partner with the marketing team to create impactful campaigns, promotions, and product launches that drive customer engagement.
e) Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and innovations in category and catalogue management.
- Identify areas for process optimization and implement solutions to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
Qualifications:
Experience: 2-3 years of proven experience in category and catalogue management or a similar role, preferably within the e-commerce, retail, or FMCG industries.
Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
