Category Buyer - Procurement - Pharma

Urgent vacancy for the position of Category Buyer for a multinational Pharma Company

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the development, management and implementation of comprehensive strategies

- Procurement to deliver agreed savings targets and other benefits that significantly impact the financial results for the purchase of logistics services.

- Assist the development and management of the external GMS supply chain providing supply of high quality and competitively priced services, to meet the requirements for logistics spend

- Work with the cluster (Cluster Head, Commodity Teams) to ensure that spend that can be managed within the cluster is done so at that level

- Help develop strategies delivering business requirements across assurance of supply, quality, regulatory, service, cost and innovation.

- Implement initiatives and programs to improve quality of services and reduce lead times.

- Ensure security of service and effective risk management.

- Deliver excellence in customer service.

- Ensure regulatory compliance.
