Role & Responsibilities
- As a Manager/Senior Manager, you will be leading a couple of Analysts/Senior Analysts to drive the analytical workplan and projects related to the aligned business vertical
- As a Core Analytics team member, you would be responsible for researching, formulating and implementing innovative analytics solutions and accelerators, which would help functional heads and senior management in developing business-building strategies on a regular basis
- Typical business problems that you would be working on are Retail and Sales team performance maximization, improving customer conversion, exploring avenues to increase revenue & margins, improving customer satisfaction rating, improving marketing ROI, optimizing marketing campaigns etc.
- Work involves doing analysis on different stages of the business, performing RCAs and sharing actionable recommendations
- Work with the Business and Product Teams to define A/B test for different features and evaluate them to share final recommendation with the senior stakeholders
- Forecasting monthly targets for Retail and Sales teams, buyer & seller campaign optimization across different geographies like India, Australia, UAE, and Southeast Asia and building Market Mix Models
- Give data visibility to the business in a consumable form by presenting through visualization tools (preferably Tableau)
Must-Have Skills
- Expertise and hands-on experience with SQL and MS Excel
- Good working knowledge of quantitative & statistical techniques
- Experienced in managing Stakeholder and aligning expectations
- Ability to take end to end ownership: understanding the business expectation, deciding the approach and doing exploratory data analysis
- Generate Actionable Insights & Recommendations and drive adoption with the business
- Working knowledge of at least some of the Data Science/ML techniques and algorithms
- Should be self-motivated to try new ideas & quickly iterate to reach the desired outcome
Good-to-have Skills
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics and visualization tools such as Tableau will be an added advantage
- Prior experience of handling/managing a team will be an added advantage
