About the role:

Do you love bikes and love what you do, but looking to do it in a fun and exciting start up? This role is to build and run giant scale 2-wheeler reconditioning centre (workshop) with state of the art machinery and automation tools at your disposal.

As the Reconditioning Manager your goal is to build (a 50,000+ sqft size workshop), own and oversee the reconditioning operations for Bikes24. To coordinate with multiple internal and external stakeholders while building the workshop, and then managing various workshop teams (and vendors) in delivering great quality bikes at big scale. This role is hands on, but off the tools, seeing you manage and oversee the entire workshop.

Responsibilities include:

- Responsible for directing and managing overall flow of vehicles through receiving, reconditioning, and shipping process to Bikes24's reconditioning standards

- Responsible for meeting key metrics such as; quality, cost and other KPIs as determined by the leadership team

- Provide decisive direction for the Reconditioning Team after taking into account all information

- Maintain reconditioning processes, operational controls and managing KPIs in conjunction with other reconditioning sites (other cities) to share best practices

- Communicate with sales, fulfilment, buyers, quality, and the leadership team when necessary

- Establish and maintain good working relationships with all suppliers and partners

What you should have:

- Strong Customer Service focus

- Strong communicator in both verbal and written forms; equally adept in communicating upwards, across, and downwards

- Analytical thinking, detail oriented, and exceptional organizational skills

- 4+ years in an operations, supply chain management (SCM) or factory management

- Production driven personality that isn't afraid to get their hands dirty and dive right into the day-to-day operations

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment while sometimes being exposed to excessive weather conditions (heat/cold)

- 2+ years in a management role

It would be great if you also had:

- Experience working in the Automotive Industry or in a Lean Manufacturing environment

- Experience in leading Blue Collar Work Force

- Experience working in a coordinator role in managing day-to-day responsibilities

- Experience working for a fast-paced hyper-growth company
