Cars24 - Treasury Role

Role Objective:

- Being a part of the Debt Origination team of Cars24 Treasury, assist in raising both long term and short term debt in a cost effective way for the Company in line with the business plan and ever evolving market situation and help in timely closure of the transactions while coordinating between the external and internal stakeholders.

- The incumbent will help in Debt raise for Cars24 Financial Services Private Limited

- Engagement with the debt investors to explore the debt opportunities and keep them

updated on the performance of the company and address their queries and concerns.

- Assist in Credit rating activity of the Company and manage Investor Relations

Key Responsibility Areas:

- Fund raising to meet long-term and working capital requirements of the Company

- Establishing and maintaining relationships with investors to explore structured products for fund raising.

- Communicating the company's operating and financial performance goals and strategies to external investors.

- Interact with the business units to receive inputs for the preparation of the investor information requirement/ bank proposals

- Understanding of legal documents- and assisting in timely closure and execution of documents in co-ordination with the legal and compliance teams

- Raising funds through structured products like Securitization and Direct Assignment, NCDs etc

- Ensure timely covenant compliances

- Reviewing funding needs, monthly reporting of all treasury activities to senior management

- Help in benchmarking activity wrt other market players

- Understanding of the geo political and economic environment and its impact on the debt raise.

- Continuous interaction with the rating agency to understand and arrange information requirements.

Candidate Requirements:

- CA / MBA with atleast 7-8 years of post-qualification experience in any large corporate treasury / NBFC treasury/Micro Finance institution/ Business Development in banks or NBFCs

- Exposure in corporate compliance function is an added advantage

- Knowledge of RBI guidelines on Securitization, Direct Assignment, NCD etc. Track record to raise debt through structure products/ capital markets

- Have done business development in the past

- Strong presentation skills with excellent command on English language - Must have

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
