Responsibilities:

1) Closely working with the CEO playing the role of a strategic business partner

2) Establishes finance operational strategies by evaluating trends; establishing critical measurements; determining production, productivity, quality, and customer-service strategies; designing systems; accumulating resources; resolving problems; and implementing change

3) Business Finance: Budgeting, Forecasting, Financial Planning and analysis

4) Helping to build the systems and processes to align the finance function

5) Ensure all requisite controls processes are setup and are being regularly monitored

6) Develops finance organisational strategies by contributing financial and accounting information, analysis, and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction and establishing functional objectives in line with organisational objectives

7) Treasury Management: Working Capital Management, Investing of excess funds, currency hedging, Cash Flow management and banking relationships

8) Taxation: Global Taxation, GST and Transfer Pricing

9) Accounting: Ensuring monthly closure of books, drawing balance sheets and cash flow reports

10) Automation: Able to set up SOPs and processes while automation/digitalisation takes place.

Candidate Requirements:

- The ideal candidate shall be a CA or MBA professional with 10-18 years of post qualification work experience, with good knowledge and expertise of working in industries like retail, manufacturing, FMCG, automotive, etc with a global presence

- The candidate should be a natural business partner, with a demonstrated record of managing teams in fast growing and dynamic organisations, and should be willing to go that extra mile to work beyond the KPIs.

- The candidate shall have an Eyes for details and analytical mindset.

- The candidate should have very strong interpersonal skills to manage and lead cross country teams and stakeholders with diverse backgrounds.

- Aptitude for digitisation/ technology based solutions.
