Job Purpose and Impact:
The Security, Risk and Controls Governance Sr Analyst and will design, develop, and maintain information security policies, standards, and guidelines to address evolving requirements and emerging security threats. In this role, you will be a key member of the Security, Risk and Controls team who will ensure policies, standards, and guidelines are up to date and in line with enterprise guidance. Additionally, you will prepare and distribute information security reports for key stakeholders on the state of controls.
Key Accountabilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain information security policies, standards, and guidelines to address evolving requirements and emerging security threats.
- Perform occasional verification to ensure compliance with risk and security or regulatory policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines.
- Prepare and distribute information security reports for key stakeholders.
- Identify and assess risk and security threats with high business impact, taking appropriate action.
- Consult and advise on high complexity risk and security matters.
- Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of four years of related work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience
- Experience developing and implementing cybersecurity policies and procedures.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and proven ability to translate security risks to all levels of the business.
- Working knowledge of common technical controls across security domains (e.g., logical access, configuration management, security operations, etc.) and technologies.
