- The FSQR Product Line Expert (PLE)-CSST works side by side with the Commercial, R&D, and regulatory leads to translate customer insights into fit for purpose formulations and specifications. The objective is to enable delivery right first time every time and cost-effectively by Business and FSQR operations teams. As FSQR PLE (CSST) for customer engagement, you'll drive the tactical Voice of Customer, and provide a single point of FSQR contact for customers for issues and complaints as well as single point of FSQR contact for commercial and R&D colleagues.
- Given this is a new FSQR role, the role will create the functional tactical goals and support strategic goals and initiatives developed by the FSQR Customer Value Leadership, deploy and implement it.
Since the role involves Customer engagement, Value creation, and business partnering, the capability will include:
Deep product line (FSQR) expertise;
- Relationship management to commercial and R&D, RA functions;
- Deep understanding of customer requirements;
- Communicating effectively and engaging with internal business stakeholders and customers
- Knowledge of plant asset capability and in-process controls for different product lines.
- The ideal candidate possesses a keen ability to build trust and respect with customers and the senior leaders in the region, proven strong influencing and change management skills to drive aligned strategy and processes, and is a compelling communicator.
- Proven experience in customer engagement, collaborating with wider stakeholders within the organization, connecting and efficiently delivering to customer and business needs, coaching team members are vital to this role, with a keen focus on talent development and retention. Knowledge of Cargill, including operations and FSQR, is also critical for this role.
The FSQR Product Line Expert (CSST) is a critical member of the FSQR CASC FIBI APAC CV team. This position reports to the APAC FSQR CASC FIBI Customer Value Leader. To achieve Cargill's goal of ZERO harm, you will partner with FSQR leadership, Commercial, R&D, regulatory, and operations.
Responsibility/Duty :
30% Leadership & Management :
- Provide authentic inspirational leadership, tactical planning, and oversight for the CASC APAC FSQR Customer Value function. The role will help build the function and manage a team with capability that includes deep product line expertise, customer requirements, and tools & processes required to bring efficiency in working. Lead talent management, performance management and leadership development of team members reporting to the role. Build and maintain a cost-competitive and effective organization, with strong attention to budget, while developing high performing, engaged talent. Assist with the creation of strategic and tactical planning for the enterprise. A key member of the APAC CASC FIBI FSQR Customer Value team.
70% Customer Value & Business partnering :
- Build and implement effective and efficient processes and capabilities that connect to the right Cargill functions at the right time to meet and deliver customer needs consistently. Includes connections to commercial/R & D, Operations & RA, ensuring NPD FSQR risk assessments are done (tap into FSQR operations team capability); development and implementation of specification management, and ensuring issue and complaint management processes are effective, fast and sustainable.
- Provide data intelligence and trends on customers and Cargill's performance Vs. major strategic customers, suggest improvement plans and provide solutions to bring in efficiencies and Right First Time approach. Define KPIs and metrics for the customer value delivery model. Drive Value creation Projects and make contributions to growth and Margin by partnering with Commercial. Be a Key member of the GTM team. Be the tactical voice of and to the customer for FSQR. Proactively engage with customers through industry associations or activities.
Qualifications :
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor degree or equivalent or higher in science, food technology, or an equivalent field required
- 10-12+ years of experience in FSQR, Commercial, R&D/tech services, operations, or related fields. Experience in specific or similar Product Line expertise is desirable.
- 7+ years experience leading multi-disciplinary technical teams preferably in a multi-country, regional and virtual team environment
- 5+ years experience in a customer-facing role.
- Experience with implementing and sustaining FSQR management systems across multiple lines of business
- Experience working in a complex matrix organization and multicultural environment
- Demonstrated FSQR leadership
