Associate Director - Trade Compliance Excellence - South Asia
Job Purpose and Impact:
The Trade Compliance Excellence Associate Director will use extensive trade compliance knowledge to identify, document, develop and provide compliance for complex and demanding activities for a region. In this role, you will provide high quality service with focus on continuous improvement. You will develop and implement trade compliance operations and sensitized data strategies, manage processes and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop goals and objectives for the benefit of the business.
Key Accountabilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Confirmed ability to instruct others to synthesize complex concepts into easily understood messages and stories
- Strong executive presence, stakeholder management and strategic planning expertise
- Deep understanding of international commercial terms, cross border supply chain and indirect tax related to cross border trade
- Confirmed advanced knowledge with customs regulations, complex classification, origin determination and free trade program management
- Minimum of six years of related work experience
- Other minimum qualifications may apply
Preferred Qualifications:
- Three years of supervisory experience.
- Licensed Customs Broker, trade related specialization or license or certification.
- Demonstrated advanced people leadership across multiple geographies and cultures.
- Tax compliance knowledge and understanding
- World Customs Organization (WCO) accredited Harmonized System (HS) expert trainer.
- 4-6 years of advanced management experience, with 3-5 years of supervisory experience.
