Job Summary :

- The incumbent oversees all operations in the Receipt and alliance with super stockists and manufacturers. He/she is responsible for the safe, efficient and cost effective operations of his department.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Strategies into Purchasing and coordinates the arrival of goods at the Retail Centre and ensures an optimal service level.

- Plans and controls all activities related to the placement of over 20,000 products for the sector under his/her responsibility.

- Participates in all Super Stockist warehouse projects (development and execution).

- Provides the Invoice Department with the information needed for billing.

- Supervises and manages the work and performance of his/her team.

- Plans activities, assesses results and takes the necessary performance improvement measures.

- Ensure work practices occur in each specific workstation within the distribution environment in accordance with established operating procedures

- Determines the human resources needed to perform the work, delegates responsibilities and the required authority to his/her subordinates, and recommends structural and organizational changes, as needed.

- Approves requests for supplies, expenses and other financial transactions within the limits of his/her authority. Protects company revenue and assets against loss and waste.

- Ensures company policies are observed and collective agreements are applied.

Key Requirements :

- Possess 5-7 years of experience in the Pharmacy distribution center environment.

- A College diploma or university degree in business or supply chain management is preferred. A combination of education and directly related experience may be considered.

- Experience managing unionized employees would be an asset.

- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and ERP tools.

- Candidates with Direct experience will be preferred.
