At Outsized, we match clients in financial services and management consulting to high-quality independent consultants and boutique/specialist firms for the execution of their key projects.
Our client, a payment consulting firm is seeking a cards acquisition specialist for one of their clients based in Abu Dhabi. An ideal professional will have 10-15 years of experience specialising in acquisition strategies and cross-sell opportunities, expertise in identifying acquisition prospects, launching digital campaigns, and optimising acquisition drivers.
This is a 12-month contractual role based onsite in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Your deliverables and key attributes:
- Identify acquisition opportunities with a focus on short-term cross-sell strategies
- Acquire new-to-bank customers through both digital and traditional channels
- Launch digital campaigns using owned and paid media platforms
- Design tailored campaigns that align with client capabilities and priorities
- Develop business cases to secure internal approvals and buy-in
- Oversee campaign execution and resolve any emerging issues
- Possess a deep understanding of market segments to drive acquisition efforts
- Expertise in multi-channel acquisition, including direct, cross-sell, digital, third-party, and branch channels
- Thorough understanding of acquisition drivers such as onboarding criteria, credit initiation processes, credit policies, app scoring, and bureau dynamics
- Experienced in designing and launching incentive structures and tactical campaigns
Knowledge of optimising acquisition costs, improving approval rates, balancing channel mix, and enhancing sales productivity
- Skilled in STP customer onboarding and process reconfiguration
- Strong stakeholder management across business, credit, operations, IT, HR, and third-party partners
- Experienced in sales compliance, risk management, and control measures.
Your Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) will be:
- Number of newly acquired cards
- Spend uplift from the existing portfolio
- Timeliness of new product launches
Your background:
- 10-15 years of experience in the full lifecycle of product launches, including:
- Designing product features
- Understanding segment needs
- Exploring and establishing partnerships
- Configuring systems with internal stakeholders, including IT, contracting, and marketing
- Executing Go-To-Market strategies independently
This is a contractual role and will be on an initial 12-month contract. This is based out of Abu Dhabi, UAE.
