CarDekho - IT & Security Lead

Role Summary:

As the Director of Information Technology and Security, you will spearhead our IT strategy, ensuring alignment with our business goals and maximizing the efficiency of our IT and security operations. This role requires a blend of strategic vision, hands-on expertise, and a deep understanding of cloud technologies and the judicious selection of IT & security tools to address diverse operational challenges.

Responsibilities :

- Architect and implement an IT strategy that leverages cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP) and identifies the right tools for the right tasks across the organization, enhancing operational efficiency and agility.

- Oversee the IT infrastructure, focusing on the optimal integration of cloud services and the strategic deployment of IT tools to support business processes, cybersecurity, compliance, and DevOps initiatives.

- Ensure the security, integrity, and compliance of all IT systems and data across cloud platforms, selecting and utilizing tools that align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

- Champion the adoption of DevSecOps practices and tools within cloud infrastructure to improve collaboration, increase efficiency, and accelerate service and application deployment.

- Conduct thorough evaluations to identify and implement the most effective IT & security tools and services for achieving business growth, enhancing customer experience, and maintaining competitive advantage.

- Develop and enforce IT & Security policies and procedures that support the strategic use of technology and tools, ensuring company-wide compliance and data security.

- Manage vendor and service provider relationships, with a focus on those offering cloud services and essential IT & Security tools, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals and compliance standards.

- Lead the IT & Security budgeting process, strategically allocating resources towards cloud technologies and tools that offer the highest return on investment.

- Mentor and develop the IT & Security team, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and excellence with an emphasis on selecting and utilizing the best tools for every task.

Qualifications:

- Over 10 years of IT management experience, including significant exposure to cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), security infrastructures, compliances and a proven track record in the strategic selection and deployment of tools across various functions.

- Deep understanding of IT strategic planning, cybersecurity, compliance, and the practical application of DevSecOps practices, with a strong emphasis on automation.

- Extensive knowledge of current and emerging IT & Security trends, technologies, tools, and best practices, with the ability to match them effectively to business needs.

- Solid experience in managing IT & Security infrastructure, cloud platforms, and the software development lifecycle, with a keen eye for the most effective tools and technologies.

- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, capable of inspiring teams and driving technological change.

- Bachelor's or master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field, with certifications in cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP) and IT governance highly valued.

Certifications:

Although not mandatory, recently certified in one or more of these would be preferred

- CISSP

- CISM

- ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer

- Azure/GCP/AWS certifications
