Associate Director- Investor Relations


Key Responsibilities:


Financial Analysis:
- Conduct comprehensive financial modelling, valuation, and analysis of target companies, including historical financial performance, projections, and key metrics.


- Assess financial statements, cash flow, debt structures, and capitalization to identify potential risks and opportunities.

- Develop sensitivity analyses and scenario modelling to evaluate the impact of different variables on the transaction's outcomes.

Due Diligence:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data during due diligence processes.

- Examine legal, regulatory, operational, and financial aspects of target companies to identify potential issues and synergies.

- Prepare due diligence reports summarizing findings and recommendations for senior management.

- Highly analytical bent of mind

Market Research:

- Conduct industry and market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential targets for M&A activities.

- Evaluate the strategic fit of potential targets within the organization's growth and diversification strategies.

Transaction Documentation:

- Assist in the preparation of transaction-related documents, including financial models, pitch materials, presentations, and offering memoranda.

- Collaborate with legal teams to ensure accurate and compliant documentation for transactions.

- Thorough understanding of financial concepts and valuation

Communication and Collaboration:

- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, clients, legal advisors, and investment bankers.

- Participate in meetings, conference calls, and presentations to provide financial insights and recommendations.

Post-Transaction Analysis:

- Monitor and evaluate the performance of completed transactions, tracking key performance indicators and integration progress.

- Provide analysis and recommendations for optimizing post-transaction value realization.

Continuous Learning and Development:

- Stay updated on industry trends, M&A best practices, and financial regulations.

- Seek opportunities for professional growth and development within the M&A field.

Qualifications:


Educational Background: Required: A Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or certification as a Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent.

Experience: An experience range of 5-10 years in Investor Relations, with a strong preference for candidates working with Investment Banking or wealth management firms, particularly in M&A, financial reporting and performance analysis.
