Job description:
- Ensure compliance with the regulatory framework set forth by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and other relevant authorities governing NBFCs.
- Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and ensure that the company adapts its practices accordingly.
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports and filings within prescribed timelines.
- Maintain statutory registers, records, and filings as required by law.
- Manage the company's statutory books and records, including the register of members, directors, and debenture holders.
- Facilitate the annual general meeting (AGM) and other general meetings, including preparing notices, agendas, and resolutions.
- Advise the board of directors and senior management on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and legal matters.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to support the company's overall objectives and growth initiatives
The ideal candidate will have:
- A CS and experience practicing in the financial industry
- Strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations, particularly those related to NBFCs and Fintech
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
