Capital Market Risk Analyst - Life Insurance & Annuity Products

Opening with one of the US Based MNC for the role of Capital Risk Analyst.

Job Location: Bangalore

Shift: 1.30 PM -10.30 PM

Job Description :

1) Support the Head of Market Risk/Market Risk manager in developing a market-risk framework, market risk policies and procedures, market risk appetite (in aggregate and by market risk type) as well as market risk limits by business and/or product as appropriate

2) Carry out and oversee model validation activities, including evaluating the conceptual soundness of the models; the reasonableness of assumptions and reliability of inputs; the consistency of approaches used across products and asset classes; the completeness of the testing performed and the correctness of the implementation

3) Assist in the development of enterprise-wide market risk reporting, dashboards, and heat maps to be utilized with the Board, senior management, the businesses and various external constituents

4) On an annual basis, assist in the development and recommendation of an aggregate market risk appetite for risk limits by type of market risk (e.g., interest rates, FX, equities) and by legal entity and/or product as deemed appropriate.

5) Assist in the analysis of financial risks associated with new life insurance and annuity products.

6) Effectively collaborate with US Risk Management team to ensure market risk is appropriately managed.
