Position: Senior Analyst
Experience: 2-4 years of relevant experience. Candidates with Strategic Consulting/ Business Valuation /Transaction Advisory experience. The role would be client facing.
Key role and deliverables:
- Identifying opportunities and supporting seniors in origination and conversion of leads leveraging primary and secondary research and analysis;
- Interacting with clients, contextualising requirements and preparing proposals under guidance;
- Enabling strategic decisions for clients through effective market assessment and bench-marking, industry and peer comparison;
- Envisioning viable business models by preparing holistic business plans leveraging detailed financial statement analysis, financial models and projections;
- Testing sensitivities through computation of key ratios, financial metrics and differentiation, relative valuation etc.
- Enabling better market positioning through high quality presentations, pitch books, information memorandums and other communication material;
- Conducting research and analysis on areas including but not limited to client's primary industry, competitors, macro-factors affecting the industry, client's position within the industry
- Relevant past work experience, knowledge and skills:
- Candidate should have worked in similar roles at an investment banking / business consulting firm or corporate finance division of industry.
Importantly, the candidate should have proficiency in the following :
- Quick turnaround on primary and secondary research
- Ability to evaluate companies through annual reports and other key financial metrics
- Ability to understand and develop an impactful Business plan/ Business case for clients across transaction and project opportunities
- Sound knowledge of financial modelling, financial analysis and valuation methodologies
- Conversant with preparation of pitches/proposals and investor presentations for transactions
- Basic knowledge of legal documentation
- Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously
- Proficient knowledge of MS PPT and Excel
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Self-motivated and organized individual with inquisitive skills
Academic requirements - Qualification :
CA or MBA from tier I institute. CFA can be an added advantage
