Role Objective :
To plan, project-manage and drive the implementation of multiple medium to large scale process transition or migration projects or any internal projects and to negotiate and own SLAs and KPIs till completion of the transition or migration process. Ensure adherence to the Offshoring/transition framework for project planning, execution and delivery
Primary Responsibilities :
- Work with cross-functional teams (may include end client representatives) to analyze requirements (changes in existing processes and workflows), identify solutions and plan for process transitions or migrations
- Conduct due diligence/ feasibility related activities at client site and be able to comprehend business related activities of the client and then document these in the form of a due diligence report along with recommendations and next steps
- Ensure adherence to project plans, documentation requirements and project timelines
- Liaise with business lines and functions (operations, HR, Learning and Development, Operations, Risk & Compliance, Information Security, Planning &MI and IT) on training, recruitment and system requirements for projects
- Track project implementation, risks and concerns and publish periodic status updates and reports
- Assist Programme Manager(s) with project status updates for medium to large scale process transition or migration project plans
- Resolve project related issues as well as look to provide relevant solutions
- Escalate project related risks and concerns when necessary
- Facilitate negotiations of service level agreements and KPIs between Capita UK teams, the end-client and business lines and functions, owning them till the transition or migration is completed.
- Publish detailed MI for the team on project implementation, quality, risks and concerns.
- Participate in documentation of various Bid related activities and responses to RFPs as and when required
- Contribute in improving current practices of the Projects team and be able to participate diligently in any internal related projects
- Work towards improving stakeholder relationships and ensure that stakeholder/ customer satisfaction scores are high
- Ensure adherence to all policies laid down by the company, not limited to:
Information Security and other compliance rules. Focus on ethics, fair and consistent treatment to all staff
Key Result Areas :
- Actively take up the project manager role, execute and deliver the project as per agreed timelines, issue / risk management, cost management, stakeholder management and reporting
- Ensured timely follow ups for task completion and exception management. Managed and reported change effectively during the project life cycle
- Ensure that the rigors associated with project documentation, contractual requirements and reporting are followed during the tenure of the project.
- Be seen as a key stakeholder by the client and facilitate timely completion and circulation of weekly project updates, reports and implementation checklist to the stipulated audiences
