- B.COM and Chartered Accountant (C.A.) (mandate)
- Minimum 5-6 years in accounting and taxation
- Knowledge of SAP is a must
- Office applications, with very high level of expertise in Excel
- Prepare financials for statutory audit, build, monitor and evaluate adequate internal controls over financial reporting
- Prepare / review month end, half yearly and year end reports, MIS reports, etc.
- Prepare various reports at the end of the year to analyze the financials of the company for the client and senior management team;
- Manage treasury function end to end, preparation of cash flow forecasts, investment options, employee claims, etc.
- Ensure month end closing as per timelines
- Manage end to end direct and indirect taxation, transfer pricing
- Review and assist in preparation, reviewing of direct and indirect tax return, tax assessments, filing of monthly tax reports / returns with government authorities, tax audits, etc.
- Assist in internal / tax audits
- Undertake and review ledger scrutiny / reconciliations
- Supervise accounts payable function end to end, process payment runs, cross border payments, liaise with bankers / regulatory authorities for imports
- Supervise revenue accounting, stock accounting, reconciliations,
- Supervise treasury function including cash flow forecasts, debtor collection, etc.
- Supervise Fixed asset recording, depreciation entries, insurance accounting
- Keep control over the signed Capex and actual Capex spends and highlight any deviations
- Maintain the books of accounts and verify correctness of entries
- Co-ordinate within team to ensure timely year end book closure
- Review / prepare various management / client reports on an ongoing basis
- Conduct performance appraisal for the team and provide timely feedback
- Assist and mentor executives to ensure that business objectives are met.
