Job Description:
Position Title: Ops Manager - Transition
Team - BTS - Transition
Specialization: P2P/ O2C/ R2A
Reports to: Level 9
Shift timings: Flexible Location: Bangalore
Position summary:
- Transition Manager would be responsible for running Transition either on Lift-Shift Methodology or on GEM methodology which would include GPM Alignment, Impact Assessment, Training, Ramp-up and Hypercare of the processes. Candidate should be in possession of valid passport and should be willing to travel extensively.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
1. Responsible for GPM Alignment that would include incorporating client best practice and specific business needs to come up with client GPM.
2. Responsible for identifying gaps between Capgemini standard process and Clients processes and running Impact Assessments at country/ region/ market level to identify issues/ variance/ exceptions.
3. Responsible for providing resolution/ recommendation/ workarounds to fill gaps between Capgemini standard processes and Clients processes
4. Responsible for documentation of the processes.
5. Contribute to Finance Academy to ensure effective training to Ramp-up team.
6. Responsible for training service delivery team and handover the process with sign-off obtained from them.
7. Responsible for pro-active issue resolution and process improvement.
8. Responsible for effective knowledge management and transition coordination.
9. Responsible for managing the team of process leads and process supports and achieve overall transition objectives within cost and timelines.
10. This position may also be required to run transition on standard Lift and Shift methodology if the solution so demands.
Candidate specification:
Educational qualification: B. Com/ ICWA/CA (PMP certification would be an advantage)
Experience: 6-10 Yrs for B. Com
- 4-8 Yrs for ICWA/CA
ERP: SAP/ Oracle
Industry preference: BPO
Unique Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong Project Management skills
- Prior experience of transition with transformation and standardization with managing such project in size of 100+ FTEs
- Strong Process skills with solution and transition experience / exposure.
- Strong leadership and motivational skills and experience in managing client.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written English.
- Flexible about work content, timings and location.
- Good process knowledge for at least one of the process towers (PTP, OTC, RTR)
- Industry knowledge in transition as MFG, GPRD would be of benefit
