Role & Responsibilities

Role:

Talend Data Warehouse Tech Lead/ Architect

Responsibilities :

- ETL Design and development using Talend (Standard/Bigdata/ESB)

- Take ownership of architecting and designing solutions

Job Requirements (Technical + Managerial skills required)

- System Analysis & Design

- Strong Talend ETL design skills

- Configuration of Talend Environment (TAC/SVN/Job Server)

- Designing Talend Data Mapping in complex and high-volume environment and data processing at Terabytes level.

- Capacity of designing solutions around Talend, with advanced skills in high performance and parallelism in Talend

- DataWarehousing implementation experience

- Knowledge of web services

- Should have good knowledge of any one Bigdata technology (Hive/Scala/Map reduce)

- Strong Knowledge of any one Database (Oracle/Teradata/Greenplum)

- Strong analytical & problem solving skills

- Good knowledge of Java is desirable

- Strong interpersonal / communication skills

- Experience in leading a team of ETL developers

- Experience in co-ordinating with offshore on development / maintenance projects

Educational qualification Degree educated in a computing, engineering or scientific discipline

Experience Level 10 years + (total IT), 5+ yrs project experience as Designer/Architect. Should have worked on at least 2 Talend projects

Skills Required

- Talend 6.x, TAC

- Oracle, Teradata, Greenplum, Casandra etc

- Scripting skills with Unix Korn shell, Perl,

- Java programing

- Hadoop, Scala, Hive, Mapreduce

- Good experience in understanding business requirements and translating these to schema requirements, good understanding of data profiling, meta data, ETL and reporting
