Summary
12+ years of industry experience in consumer products and retail sector. Around 8 years of hands-on experience in retail operations, retail pricing, assortment optimization, trade promotions, Supply Chain management, distribution and logistics functions of global consumer products & retail organizations (Ex. of CPR org: Unilever, P&G, Nestle, Walmart, Target, Tesco, etc)..Should have clear understanding of the CPR business process and able to identify and create the functional specifications for analytical solutions.
Engineering + MBA degree (from reputed institutions tier 1 or 2)
Desired Candidate Profile
- Domain knowledge & experience of CPR with analytics as in a BIM Role.
- In a functional role it would be good if the person has performed the role of data and business analyst in developing trade promotions, Marketing programs, retailer collaboration, Consumer data analysis, supply chain, logistics and supplier/distributor analysis on any technology - understand data and all the relevant measures, KPIs, reports that a retail business user (by role) would use for analyzing business
- Should have the eye for detail - possibilities of how data can be used for various business problems faced by retail function
- Knowledge of either: SAP- ECC, Oracle - SCM, SAP-IS Retail, Oracle-Retail a plus
- Exposure to data-warehouse & BI concepts - a must
- Preferred cross-segment CPR experience - Specialty, Hypermarkets, Food & Beverages, Health & Beauty/Cosmetics, Home care, Fashion/Apparel
Job Description
- Work closely with the technical teams (DW/BI) teams and develop the functional architecture for the specific business area under analysis
- Develop the details to enable better business decisions by creating the right KPIs, templates, dashboards and scorecards for actionable insights
- Liaison with business and IT teams in client organizations to craft DW/BI solutions - for ex. models for marketing mix, consumer insights, trade promotions optimization, Cost to serve analysis etc.
- Support business enablement initiatives - Pre-sales, client visits, presentations etc.
