CAPEX Controller - CA

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the CAPEX budgeting process, including reviewing and evaluating project proposals for feasibility and alignment with strategic objectives.

- Conduct thorough benefit evaluations to assess the projected return on investment (ROI) for proposed CAPEX projects.

- Perform detailed delay analysis to identify root causes of project delays and implement corrective actions to mitigate future risks.

- Oversee the CAPEX approval process, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.

- Monitor and track CAPEX spending against budgets, identifying and addressing any variances.

- Prepare and maintain accurate and timely Management Information System (MIS) reports on CAPEX projects and performance.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and internal control frameworks for CAPEX activities.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and procurement, to ensure seamless project execution.

Must-Have Skills:

- Proven experience (4-9 years) as a CAPEX Controller or a similar role within a manufacturing/industrial setting.

- Strong understanding of CAPEX budgeting, project evaluation, and financial analysis techniques.

- Proficiency in delay analysis methodologies and tools.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

- Experience with financial modeling and MIS reporting tools is a plus.

- CA Qualification is mandatory
